Jude A: has been chosen for his perseverance in learning and notably the Jingle Jog on Tuesday. Even though he was tired, he did not give up and Mrs Unwin noticed how he was making sure he stayed in the position he had set himself for the race. Jude quietly gets on with every task he is given.  He is always willing to have a go and is up for a challenge. He is a fantastic member of Class 3. Well done Jude A.

Maks: has been noticed for his attitude to learning and ever-increasing effort. He started out as a quieter member of the class. Over time, he has become more confident and outspoken. He is offering answers during discussions, and they are now pushing their learning to the next level. It is clear with the progress he is making that each day he is improving. Maks is a pleasure to have in the class, they are supportive friend to all and can always make us smile. Well done Maks.

George H and Daisy B: Two stars have been chosen specially for their involvement during the class trip. Their knowledge shone through during all the different activities, and it was clear to see their enthusiasm. They were inquisitive about the artefacts that were on display, and which were being explored more thoroughly in the cave. Both children are pushing themselves to be the best they can be in Class 3 and this is shown in their work. A great big well done to George H and Daisy B.

Billie: has been working so hard on her reading during her time in Class 3. She has been driven and persevering in moving onto accelerated reader. Now she is pushing her reading to the next level. She was so pleased with herself and should be proud of her progress. She is always keen to help around the classroom and likes to keep things tidy and organised. For her fantastic efforts, well done Billie.

Drew: is one of our ‘tidy classroom fairies’ as Mrs Wilkinson puts it! She is showing the Christian Value of Responsibility in Class 3. She takes great care with her work and how she presents both herself and her work. She does not always find work easy, but she pushes herself to achieve, in her writing and maths, and she strives to become better all the time.  She is a pleasure to have in a class and always makes us smile. Well done Drew!

This week, she has created an amazing piece of art work based around Martin Luther King Jr as part of their Black History Month learning. We are so proud of her and her maturity in Class 3. Well done Felicity.

What a start to Class 3!
