What will happen if there is a school closure due to adverse weather conditions?

In the event of snow before school starts:

The Site Manager, Headteacher and Senior Staff will access the accessibility and safety of the site.

After agreement between the Headteacher and the Chair of Governors, a text message will be sent to parents to inform you of the school closure. (Please make sure you notify us of any change to your contact details).

The information will also be uploaded to the school website and we will also inform the local authority.

In the event of the school being closed during the school day:

A text will be sent out, requesting you collect your child from school at the earliest opportunity. Please do not panic, your child will be supervised by staff until you are able to reach us.

A text message will be sent to inform you when school is to reopen.
